RE: Year 7 Induction Evening- Monday 13th July- 6 pm 

 

Please may I take this opportunity to welcome your daughter to Brentford School for Girls. We are delighted that you will be joining us in September and look forward to meeting you and your family closer to the time. Under normal circumstances, we would have hosted an induction day at school during the summer term.  As we will be unable to do this, we would instead like to offer your daughter the opportunity to attend our virtual induction event, which will be held on 13th July from 6-7 pm. 

 

The purpose of the evening is for you and your daughter to get to know her tutor and see the other students in her tutor group via a Zoom meeting. We also aim to answer all of the questions you may have before September within the ‘Welcome’ assembly.

In order to access the meeting, you will need to use Zoom video conferencing software. This can be downloaded as an app from the app store onto your phone or accessed via the internet at www.zoom.com and although this is free software you will need to register in order to use it. Before entering the meeting could we please ask you to change the user name to your daughter’s name and the name of her tutor group- for example- Jane Smith 7 Ambitious. This will allow us to add you to your tutor meeting following the assembly. Please find below a link to a ‘how-to’ change your user name on Zoom tutorial or follow the step by step guide below.
